British Muslim Heritage Centre webinar on stroke

We are collaborating with the British Muslim Heritage Centre based in Whalley Range, Trafford to help increase awareness on the recognition and prevention of stroke in Greater Manchester ethnic minority communities.

In early June, the organisation hosted a webinar featuring Dr Khalil Kawafi from Fairfield General’s stroke services plus a stroke survivor and Becky Begum from the Stroke Association.

This event is the start of further work to help address health inequalities and ensure we prevent more strokes and deliver better healthcare in local populations.
