Network appoints two new Clinical Directors
We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new Clinical Directors to head up the Greater Manchester Integrated Stroke Network. Tracy Walker will continue in her support of community, with Dr Adrian Parry Jones joining us to lead on the hospital pathway. Their clinical leadership will help guide the network through the next phase of its development as we work to implement the new national service specification for stroke.
For those of you unfamiliar with Dr Parry Jones, he is a Clinical Academic with The University of Manchester and a senior Consultant in the stroke service at Salford Royal. He led work to develop the ICH bundle of care which is now being rolled out nationally, amongst many other things!
Dr Jane Molloy will be stepping down on the 31st March 2021 after more than 5 years as our hospital Clinical Lead. We are sure you will all join us in thanking her for her huge contribution to the region’s stroke pathway, especially during the last year during the pandemic, and also to wish her good luck for the future.
