Clinical Leadership opportunities – acute stroke and inpatient rehabilitation
The network prides itself on being a clinically led organisation that is an exemplar nationally and pioneer in service improvement in these fields. The network is led by Clinical Director Dr Shivakumar Krishnamoorthy, a Consultant Stroke Physician at Stepping Hill Hospital, who provides expert leadership, clinical knowledge and advice to the network team and wider stakeholders.
We have an exciting opportunity for two local clinicians to join the clinical leadership team on a part time basis to provide additional support based on their clinical profession or area of expertise and experience. The roles would be part of an existing substantive post and funded until 31 March 2025 in the first instance, although we hope to extend when our funding is confirmed for 2025/26.
The Clinical Leads will report directly to the network Clinical Director whilst working closely with the wider network team and other stakeholders to help develop and implement defined programmes of service improvement work within the remit. The roles aim to increase the opportunities to develop and nurture clinical leadership skills and experience amongst local clinicians involved with stroke and neuro care. You can find out more about the network on our website.
Inpatient rehabilitation

We are looking for senior professional (at least band 7) with extensive relevant clinical experience who is currently working in Greater Manchester inpatient stroke services. You can view the role outline here.
Acute stroke
