It is recommended that all stroke patients receive a comprehensive review 6 months after their stroke. In Greater Manchester, these assessments are undertaken either by the local community neuro-rehabilitation team or via the Stroke Association who have been commissioned to carry them out.
All providers of 6 month reviews in our region use theĀ Greater Manchester Stroke Assessment Tool, which was updated and re-launched in December 2018. You can download the notes for reviewers here.
