Voluntary Services Directory

The Voluntary Services Directory provides information about services available in the Greater Manchester Area. These services are generally provided by the voluntary sector or local authorities and augment, complement or follow on from care provided by the NHS. Availability of services may vary in different areas and some services may be applicable to certain conditions or be relevant for all.

If you would like details of your organisation to be included in our directory, please click here. If you identify any errors within the directory we would be grateful if you could highlight them to our administrator.

Our user guide explains how to use the tool, which works best in a Chrome browser.

Select “Generic” within the specialties category below if you would like to include services that are not condition specific.

After consultation with our members we have two locations for our Drop In sessions, one in Rochdale and one in Bury. These have replaced our meetings at The Yard in Darn Hill Heywood.
We hold monthly Drop In meetings in two locations, one in Rochdale and one in Bury where members of Headway Rochdale & Bury will be available to have a chat and support people with brain injury or their friends and family as well as give information about local services.
We think that meeting in a community venue like the Bean cafe in Rochdale and Delicious at the Fusiliers in Bury makes our Drop In's more accessible and inclusive.
Both are located in the town centre with car parks, Metrolink stops and bus stations within a short walk.
