We are a signposting and advisory service supporting individuals, family, friends, employers and professionals around all aspects of Huntington's disease. We have resources including guides and webinars with educational materials. We have a range of additional support services and links with other specialist teams such as the Huntington's Management and Research Team in Manchester.

Scope now offer disabled people across England and Wales an energy advice service. Scope’s Disability Energy Support service provides free energy advice to any household where a disabled person lives across England and Wales.
Our expert energy advisers can offer support with:
• Energy debt
• Switching tariffs or supplier
• Changing your meter
• Green energy
• Becoming more energy efficient
• Accessing energy benefits, grant and trusts
• Contact or complaining to your supplier
• Understanding your bills
• Understanding how to use your heating systems
• Free pre-payment fuel vouchers (conditions apply)

Helpline Service- our helpline provides free, independent and impartial advice and support on issues that matter to disabled people and their families. Our information officers can answer questions and talk you through a wide range of topics connected with disability, including: benefits finance social care work equipment and assistive technology housing and home adaptations.
We can also put you in touch with local providers of information and support and other Scope services in your area. Navigate Service- provides support at the start of your journey as a parent of a disabled child. It's a six-week programme that aims to put you in touch with a personal advisor, helping you to talk about your feelings and concerns. Call 0808 801 0510. Online Community Forum- online disability forum that is a vibrant and supportive space for disabled people, parents and carers to get disability advice and information, and talk to people with similar experiences. Our forum includes a wide range of support including support groups, discussions and talking to a community advisor.

The Christchurch Rehabilitation Programme aims to maximise independence and recovery, equipping residents with the skills to return home or to a supported environment, achieving rehabilitation goals that promote re-enablement and enhance quality of life.

Adult Care Connect and Direct is the one stop shop for all adult care enquiries for Bury residents aged 18 or over. We can offer information and advice as well as signposting or referrals to other services. Care call is a 24 hour telemonitoring service for older or vulnerable people living in Stockport and the surrounding areas, we also provide an emergency response service between the hours of 7am and 10pm.
Our customers want to live independently but with the security and peace of mind that someone will always be on hand if help is needed.

• Returning home from hospital or intermediate care

This is a free and impartial helpline for people troubled with drug and alcohol issues. Rehab 4 Alcoholism aims to save lives by stopping addiction before it becomes too late.

Weight Management, smoking cessation, sensible drinking, cooking etc.

Aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in Salford by, in part, providing or supporting other agencies to offer a range of projects and activities in community venues across the area. These include healthy cooking groups, weight support groups, fun exercise classes, alcohol awareness sessions, speakeasy courses, oral health advice, allotment schemes and social support groups.

Supporting people affected by Multiple Sclerosis in Trafford and South West Manchester

We care because we have been there, we understand.

Previously known as Westhoughton Visiting Service, the group befriends older people including a sitting service for older people with special needs such as dementia. We also offer support for carers and two luncheon clubs.

We have been caring for people in and around Horwich for over 14 years. A visiting and befriending service for adults in our local community. It is run by local people that care about reaching out to some of the most vulnerable people in the community and bringing friendship, laughter and enjoyment into people's lives.

The group provides volunteer visitors to lonely, isolated and house bound people over the age of 60 years. A voluntary sit in service for carers and a visiting service for elderly people suffering from mental frailty.

We allow the bereaved the space, time and opportunity to tell their story as many times as they need to without judgement, without advice and without preconceptions. We give the bereaved the opportunity to be heard.

A self help support group for the bereaved families no matter what age the child (bay-adult) or cause of death. An informal group where bereaved parents can share their experience and receive support and understanding from those similarly bereaved.

We help and give advice for refugees and asylum seekers and also offering various activities and help with immigration.

We are a self-help voluntary organisation that has been set up to tackle and reduce the problems facing the new emerging communities in Bolton.

Offers advice and support to parents and friends of drug users. Meetings are held the first and third Monday in each month.

A support group for carers of adults with learning disabilities, providing social, emotional and regular breaks from caring.

We offer a full range of services including regular breaks for carers. We provide a carer support worker who will look after the person you care for whilst you have a break.
We provide a minimum of one hour per week. We provide personal care, bathing or showering. We also provide specialist care for children with complex needs through to dementia and end of life care

We provide supported lodgings and floating tenancy support to young people aged 16-21, including those leaving care.

The group is for parents and carers of disabled children giving an opportunity to have your say on helping to improve your local services. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to share views and experiences.

Offers help, support and practical advice to parents/carers of children who have a tracheostomy. Also they work in partnership with multi-disciplinary professionals.

We are a youth and community centre committed to helping the young people of Bolton. We offer a wide range of activities and accredited training designed to help people develop in body, mind and spirit in a friendly and supportive environment.

The club aims to help the young people of Bolton become the happy, caring and responsible citizens of tomorrow by providing somewhere to go that's fir for purpose, something to do that is developmental and challening.

Helps families in Bolton affected by Autism and Aspergers Syndrome by personal and group support and advice. The groups hosts social events and campaigns for better/improved families.

We provide group work and individual support to young carers and their families.
